CSP Sustainability or Parent Engagement Grant 2020

What is it?

The Broken Bay Catholic School Parents is offering a grant of up to $300 per school to go towards a sustainability or parent engagement project at your school.  The purpose of the grant is to help fund a project that your school would like to initiate, that brings together students, parents, teachers and community. 
The Sustainability Grant Project was piloted on the Northern Beaches in 2019 and here are the great sustainability projects that the grant money went towards:
  • Beeswax Wraps Workshop
  • Frog Pond Maintenance
  • Waste Management Project
  • Playground Recycling Bin Project
  • Bee Hotels
  • Native Bees for Native Gardens
  • Native Plants for Native Garden
  • Nature Play Garden
  • VegePod Herb Garden for Hospitality Kitchen​

    Grant Application Steps
    1. To apply for the grant of up to $300, please fill out the form below.  This form is to be filled out by the CSP Rep or parent involved in the grant application in collaboration with the School Principal.   (Each school can only apply for one grant).
    2. Grant Application will be reviewed.
    3. When Grant is awarded, funds will be transferred into the school's bank account and an email will be sent to applicant to notify them. 
    4.  Applicant/school to take photos and notify parentcouncil@dbb.org.au in writing that project has been completed (or commenced if not completed), highlighting the success of the project by Term 4, 2020. 


    Applications will close Friday 18th September 2020 (week 9, Term 3).  Schools are welcome to apply for grants immediately and grants will be awarded as approved.
