Parent Team 101's

Broken Bay Catholic School Parents hosted primary school Parent Team 101's in Term 1.   Based on parent team feedback, committee members had asked for more advice and information around running effective parent teams.  Carmel Hewitt, Education Officer - Parent Engagement, presented on how parent teams can set goals to meet the needs of each school's unique parent community and identify whether they are meeting their own goals.  Carmel also explained how contemporary parent teams work in the changing climate of family needs and the importance of understanding your parent community and their needs and developing your activities to engage parents in your community.   There was a good turn out at both the North Shore and Northern Beaches 101 and the Central Coast 101.  As is usually the case, great discussion and sharing of ideas was had between schools.

Unfortunately, the Secondary 101 and Cluster Meeting was cancelled due to Covid-19 and has been rescheduled as a Zoom meeting at 7pm, Tuesday 19 May, 2020.  Details will be sent to CSP Reps in week 1, term 2.
