Season of Creation - A Month of Sustainability Events

The Season of Creation, from September 1st to October 4th,  is a time when Christians around the world celebrate all creation. The Sustainability Working Group of the Northern Beaches Catholic School Parents decided this would be an ideal time to reflect on how we, as parents, can make a difference in caring for God's creation.  A wonderful time to take action and do our small part for the future of our children.
Please join us in the events below, to learn, to educate, to reflect and to take action.

What can you do?

  • Join us at one of our events below!
  • Ask your school how your parent body can support their sustainability efforts - waste free lunches? a vegie garden? build a bird or possum box?
  • Speak to your school leader about creating a school environment team, consisting of an environment parent, teacher and students.  Then work together to make a plan of action!
  • Reflect on all that you and your school are already doing and let everyone know - Use the Season of Creation, the month of September, to showcase your school's sustainability efforts in your newsletter and on facebook.
  • Keep coming back to our website as we will be adding more useful information!
