MoodGym is a free and anonymous app offering an easy entry point for someone wanting to get a quick picture of their mental health or who wants to take the first step towards full treatment.
UBWell is a continuous real-time tracker of physical activity, sleep patterns, mood, energy, diet, weight and other behaviours. It’s designed to increase the user’s motivation and commitment to making lasting positive lifestyle changes.
Recharge - Move Well, Sleep Well, Be Well (ReachOut Australia) offers a personalised six week program aimed at improving mood, energy and wellbeing by implementing good sleep/wake patterns.
Headspace - Meditation Techniques for Mindfulness, Stress Relief and Peace of Mind is a gym membership for the mind. Learn meditation and mindfulness in just 10 minutes a day.
Smiling Mind is a unique web and App-based program developed by a team of psychologists with expertise in youth and adolescent therapy, Mindfulness Meditation and web-based wellness programs.
Stop, Breathe and Think Tools for Peace is a simple app to guide people of all ages and backgrounds through meditations for mindfulness and compassion. Check-in daily, track your progress, and feel the calm.
Gratitude Journal is the easiest and most effective way to rewire your brain in just five minutes a day, unleashing everything great in your life.

​Beyondblue has an array of information and resources for parents, students and educators aimed at raising awareness and understanding of depression and anxiety, empowering people to seek help and supporting recovery, management and resilience.
Kidsmatter is an Australian mental health and well-being initiative, set in primary schools and early childhood education and care services (like preschools, kindergartens and day care centres). The website offers information for parents on a range of issues such as anxiety, mindfulness for kids, bullying and ADHD just to name a few.
Optymise is a national centre of research excellence that puts young people and their families at the centre of mental health care. It brings together Australia’s best mental health researchers and clinical service providers: the Brain and Mind Research Institute, the Black Dog Institute, Orygen Youth Health Research Centre, and institutes in Queensland and South Australia.
The Young & Well CRC is an Australia-based, international research centre that unites young people with researchers, practitioners and policy makers from over 75 partner organisations across the non-profit, academic, government and corporate sectors
Organisations including MindMatters and ReachOut are also great local resources that inform students and parents and educators about the importance of wellbeing and a healthy lifestyle.
