Research has shown that in order to raise achievement parents need to be both

Parent Engagement
What is it and why is it important?
|
It is Parent engagement if it:
“Without doubt, parental engagement in children's learning makes a difference and remains one of the most powerful school improvement levers
that we have. But effective parental engagement will not happen without concerted effort, time and commitment from both parents and schools. It will not happen unless parents know the difference they make and unless schools actively reinforce their active engagement in learning.” |
